30 Minutes Of Power-Packed Prayer

Here is an idea of how we can have 30 minutes of power-packed prayer right in our own homes –

Matthew 6:6: find a “secret place”, a “prayer closet” where you are free from outside distractions

Matthew 21:22: pray in faith, believing God’s promises and speaking His Word

Colossians 4:2: give thanks while you pray

As always, we end our prayers in Jesus’ name! Now, let’s break down the 30 minutes –

*5 minutes – spend time in praise and worship

*5 minutes – pray for salvation for the lost in your family and community

*5 minutes – pray for the United States of America and for protection and wisdom for our president, national and local leaders and for our military and first responders

*5 minutes – pray for mighty signs and wonders, healing and miracles to take place in the Body of Christ, including Prevailing Word Church

*5 minutes – pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the persecuted church as well as other nations of the world

*5 minutes – pray for individual, specific needs and situations in your life and in the lives of your friends and family

By the way, all of this can be done as a family – even your little ones can join in at least 1, 5-minute segment.

Declaration of Faith

My God is a Covenant God who keeps His promises.
According to 2 Corinthians 1:20, all of the promises of God are YES and AMEN in Jesus Christ for His Glory.
Therefore, I declare over myself and my loved ones: In Jesus’ name, we have authority over every spirit of infirmity in this world. (Luke 10:18-20; Luke 13:11-13)
Through Jesus, we are more than conquerors and will overcome all adversity. (John 16:33; Romans 8:37)
We do not operate in fear or anxiety but in the peace of God which comes through prayer and praise. (Philippians 4:6-8)

We are the beloved of God in Christ Jesus and will prosper and be in health as our souls prosper despite the circumstances surrounding us. (3 John 2)

We confess Psalm 91 protection in Jesus’ name:

1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
9 If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, 10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.  (Psalm 91:1-6 and 9-10, NLT)
