What are the real facts concerning this very important segment of our society???

The latest research from the Barna Research Group of Ventura, California concludes that:

A person’s moral foundations are laid by the age of nine.
Most people make a decision regarding the personal significance of Jesus Christ’s death by the age of 12.
In most cases, people’s spiritual beliefs are irrevocably formed while they are still pre-teens.

The battle for the hearts of children becomes more and more competitive with each passing year. In many cases we are losing the battle against perverted societal influences. There is an absolute massive attack of messages from television, the Internet, and pop culture. Daily a steady stream of sordid voices proclaim an anti-Christian bias – substance abuse, negative peer pressure, sexual activity; not to mention ridicule of Christian values. In so many ways today’s culture is in direct conflict with the values taught in good Christian homes and churches.

Along with Barna Research, at PWC we recognize “…children are the single most important population group for the Church to focus upon.” Therefore, PWC has made the decision that our children will not just be baby-sat when they enter our doors. We will see to it they learn the Prevailing Word of the Living God at their age level. We are raising a young army of “…more than conquerors…” (Rom 8:37) through Jesus Christ!

Do your teenagers put more stock in the words of Brittany Spears and Ludicrous than they do in the Words of Jesus Christ?

If the answer to these questions is obvious to you, PWC invites you/your teenaged “gems” to attend our Jesus Generation youth meetings. They will do more that just hang-out; they will find the ONE Who they can hang-on to as they face society’s attacks.
